For ordinary day-to-day hydration, water may be all you need. Electrolyte products can make sense in some circumstances, but “hydration” on the label does not make a product a gout treatment.

Check the label

Look at sugar, sodium and serving size rather than relying on wellness branding. If you have been told to restrict fluids, sodium or electrolytes, follow your own clinical advice.
